Crazy old bastard? Nah, not crazy, not very much at least. Silly? Sure. Ironic? Betya. What else? Well. I'm basically your run of the mill quirkyalone bookworm with a huge passion for literature, humour, and people with open minds.

I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm single, I don't smoke, don't drink alchohol, don't do drugs, don't eat. At least some of those are actually true.

The bit about books is not a joke. I stopped counting when I catalogued my book number 10.000, and that's many moons ago.

Speaking of numbers: I'm 50 going on 20. I guess I should be having some sort of midlife crisis, but I'm too busy enjoying life and acting silly.

I'm politically interested and active. I'm a member of the Danish party Socialdemokratiet. I'm very much pro global interaction and muliti-cultural communities, but not overly impressed by the way the European Union is doing currently. I do, however, see no viable alternative to European coorporation in a union. I support Amnesty International and various NGO's and non-profit organisations.

I try to keep fit by spinning (you know, the indoor cycling thing) and swimming. Philosophy, politics and history are also major interests of mine, as are Playstation 4 and Xbox One gaming plus spending far too much time in front of my computer or iPad.

I'm into most kinds of music. Jazz and classical music are, however, particular favourites.

I spend a lot of time (i.e. too much) online and have friends and contacts all over the globe, I love getting to know new people, new countries and new cultures. The internet is also a wonderful tool if you want to read the real news and get to know activists all over the world. I hope and fight for a free internet.
