Jarold Guzman

Philadelphia, PA

I started my career path in 2001 when I decided to join the Marines. They would provide me with the GI Bill after serving honorably for five years. When I got out, I spent the next 3 years working to get back on my feet so that I could start college. In all that time, I was teaching myself the programs a graphic designer uses frequently such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash. I also have been doing freelance work since 2007. I graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia (Bachelors) with honors and won Best Portfolio in Graphic Design! On top of taking responsibilities VERY serious, I'm also a very social & extroverted person who appreciates critiques and isn't afraid to ask the right questions if necessary. Great design equals passion, purpose and possibility & I believe I can offer that. My main goal is to work somewhere that would transform me into a professional so that I may be the best creative I can be for them.
