There are probably any number of conflicting reports as to how to describe me. Over the years one gains some baggage in the public sphere (inasmuch as being online or in a civil or workplace setting constitutes “public”), and in my case, several depending on who you ask and when they encountered me. And while age tends to lead towards a more measured balance of character, sometimes you seemingly cannot escape the gravity of your own repute.

I have been described as an open source geek, a policy wonk, and even a bit of a creative illustrator. All are at least partially true I suppose. I’ve been called all manner of adjectives, most of them contradictory. I was described once as a cross between Tucker Carlson and Lenny Kravitz. I have neither bow ties nor dreadlocks, but the description sounded incredibly cool,so I figured it was worth mentioning here.
