Engineers make things and Industrial Engineers make things better - that's why I'm passionate about Industrial Engineering! This August, I completed my Masters in Industrial Engineering. I've earned my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and successfully completed 3 internships in the manufacturing department of major auto part companies. I've served as the Graduate Research Assistant in the RFID Labs for the UTA Industrial Engineering department. I am a graduate engineer with relevant years of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, business process Engineering, purchase & inventory management. I am a Six Sigma Green Belt with exposure to lean manufacturing & operations including JIT, Kanban, Kaizen, 5S, SPC, FMEA, DOE, VSM, TOC, RCA, TPM, 3P, AIW, demand forecasting, production planning & scheduling, facility layout & design. For my Masters Thesis, which I plan to publish, I constructed a distribution model of the Texas Oil & Gas supply chain to calculate the minimum transportation cost of oil when pipelines are used as a main source, using 'Design For Six Sigma- Research (DFSS-R)' approach. As a college student, I have held various leadership positions both on and off campus. I am seeking an Industrial Engineering position in the domains of Lean Manufacturing, Process improvement, Continuous Improvement, and Change Management. Currently I am working towards the CPIM certification by APICS.Leadership Core Competencies:• Linear Programing• Work Measurement• Statistical Analysis• Social Intelligence• Novel & Adaptive Thinking• Cross Cultural Communicator• Computational Thinking• New Media Literacy• Design Mindset• Transdisciplinary• Cognitive Load ManagementCertifications: CLSSGB, CLSSYB, CLGB, Minitab, RFIDSCP★ I am open to relocating ★
