in the online/technical world, i'm known as the SyberKnight...
i specialize in the design & development of websites (from concept to finish product) with a focus on User Interface/eXperience. i create all kinds of graphics (for both the digital & print worlds). i do front-end programming for websites & web apps. probably my most visible pieces of work are the giant banners & backdrops for the Nashville (Music City) Visitors Bureau in & out of the Arena downtown. currently i work for some research projects on Peabody College at Vanderbilt University.

in the musical world, i'm known as the Godfather of Folk-Metal...
i'm a writer, singer, guitarist, & percussionist.
my favorite style of music to play is mostly in the acoustic realm
(ie: rock, classic rock, MOR, singer/songwriter, Xian worship, etc),
whilst my favorite style to listen to is metal with melody
(ie: symphonic, epic, power, progressive, heavy, speed, etc).

in the random world...i'm a visual learner, i love Syfy (SciFi for us old skewlers), i enjoy tv & movies, i like cool-to-cold weather, i love nature/trees/mountains, i'm a natural night person, i have a passion for Apple products & tech gadgets, i prefer texting/emailing over talking on the phone if in-person isn't doable, i bounce back'n'forth between Batman & Superman on who's my favorite superhero, my favorite animals are dogs/cats/eagles/elephants/bears, i'm a dreamer, i'm a follower-of-Jesus, i've been known as a worship leader, i'm blessed to have an awesome wife, we bought our current home in April 2012 & i LOVE it, currently have some physical limitations that i'm working to hopefully remedy, i grew up in the hill country on a lake just outside of Austin TX, i lived in Hawaii for 3 years before moving to Nashville by way of Illinois, i put a band together in college & won the mid-west battle of the bands in 1993, my best friend lives in Boston, our goddaughter lives south of Franklin, and i find Tattoo's exciting & meaningful. :-)
