As a finance executive with two decades of experience in his field, Jason Pflaum offers a wide range of financial and strategic management consulting services through Plum Tree Advisors in Minneapolis. After earning his degree in economics from Colgate University, he began his finance career as a research analyst with Brown Brothers Harriman in New York. During this time Jason Pflaum earned the designation of chartered financial analyst (CFA).

Following his work at BBH, Jason Pflaum began a lengthy tenure at tech-focused investment bank Thomas Weisel Partners, serving as a senior analyst and principal. Ranked as one of the bank’s top analysts, he identified key opportunities in the technology sector, with a primary focus on the electronics supply chain in the Asia-Pacific region.

In 2007, Mr. Pflaum moved to the buy side of the industry, leaving Thomas Weisel to analyze technology investments at hedge funds Owenoke Capital and BCM, LLC. Today, he leverages his deep financial and technology experience to provide a full spectrum of financial and management consulting services to client firms of Plum Tree Advisors.
