Jason Towns is a venture strategist and ecosystem architect with more than 15 years of experience building capital pathways and advising funds, founders, and innovation platforms across the U.S., Africa, and emerging markets.

He is the founder of Signal & Soul, a venture platform focused on acquiring and building companies at the intersection of wellness, cultural infrastructure, and technology. Jason has previously led and advised initiatives with Techstars, Groundwork Ventures, CODE2040, and GLG, and has counseled local and national leaders on access to capital and inclusive innovation.

A former founder (Broadband.com, acquired) and early-stage investor, Jason’s work has been recognized by outlets and institutions including the United Nations, Inc., MIT Innovation Review, The Root 100, and Ebony Power 100. He currently sits on advisory boards spanning policy, economic development, and cultural ventures, and is frequently engaged to advise venture funds and corporate leaders on emerging markets, ecosystem design, and innovation strategy.
