Jason Yarborough is an experienced, local government executive with over 20 years of implementing innovative and best management practices for various organization that he has represented resulting in millions of dollars in savings for taxpayers. He studied for and became a Certified Government Finance Officer which has facilitated his ability to analyze city revenue and expenses for optimization opportunities.

He has led cities, special taxing districts and utility systems for both small and large communities (2,300 to 106,000 populations). Mr. Yarborough is responsible for the Palm Bay Utilities System becoming the first public utilities system in the nation to implement an environmental management system (ISO 14001) across all divisions and major activity centers. This use of environmental management system by the utility improved operations resulting in the organization winning many national and state awards for operational success and safety. In addition, it resulted in the reduction of operational cost by over $1 million through reduced electrical use. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University with a Master’s degree from the University of West Florida. In addition, he completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
