Jaime Arturo de la Torre

Madrid

Physicist by the University of Seville. Master of Science in Physics of Complex Systems by UNED. Ph.D. in Sciences also by UNED. I research on non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, the Theory of Coarse-Graining, and computational methods applied to Stochastic Differential Equations. A list of publications can be found on my website.

I am a fanatic of flames, and maybe a bit troll in my spare time. I love Debian GNU/Linux, vim is my favorite programming IDE, Fortran is an old fashioned lady, cd sounds better than vinyl, Google is evil, and Mac "just works".

I love hiking, rock climbing, canyoning, and possibly any outdoor sport. Also, PC games (mainly oldies) and board games. Hamburgers, doughnuts, and beer.
