Javier Alonso

Welcome! I was born quite a long a go, back to the May the 2nd, 1984, in the wonderful city of Pamplona, in Navarre, Spain. I grew up as a happy child while developping a hunger for knowledge about the World sorrounding everything, from geography to history, nature... And a dislike for football! For much of my young years, I was the (lovely) odd one. And after some sahky early adult years, I eventually grew up and became the adult who tries to build his own place for satisfaction (and success). I enjoy International Business; I conceive it as the creation of opportunities and value for everyone, a means of approaching people. It is making the World smaller, and I feel motivated about contributing to it. Not to mention the learning challenge it poses in terms of different legal/political systems, foreign languages, accounting, labor, living and environmental standards, diverging local and corporate cultures… To me, this is kind of feeling the Earth’s movement. My expertise involves exports to around 100 different countries, bearing a background with orders from the EU, the USA and China. I analyzed, purchased and managed logistics for the overseas deliveries of a Fortune 500 company, TRW Automotive. Experiencing international marketing came to new edge once I joined Linguland Sprachreisen, a SME in Germany, committed to the sales of travel language course throughout Europe. I can speak fluent English and French, intermediate German and I have just started to learn Chinese. Spanish is my mother tongue. I must confess my passion for sales and everything that is related to it.
