A(P)ertain is a Mobile Customer Engagement Platform providing User Engagement Tools such as Smart Rating Prompts, In-App Support, App Analytics, Push Notifications, Pertain Engine etc., for Mobile Developers.

I was previously @ Vembu Technologies Private Limited, Chennai, India by leading the Vembu's Online Backup Software StoreGrid & Cloud Storage Service Vembu Home for Consumers & StoreGrid Cloud for Businesses.

I started my career as a Software Engineer Trainee right out of college @ AdventNet (now Zoho Corporation) and grew up to become a Project Leader, leading a purely Technical Team in development of various Network Management Products. I have worked with various technologies including SNMP & other NMS protocols, Java Management Extensions (JMX), J2EE Mgmt, Rules & Workflow Engine, SMTP & SPAM, Backup & Storage etc.,

At AdventNet, I was incharge of developing from scratch the ME JMX Studio product based on the AdventNet's JMX implementation and deploy the JMX Agents on BEA Weblogic, IBM WebSphere, Oracle, Sun's iPlanet Servers. I standardized the deployment of JMX Agents within J2EE environment & provided a JSP front-end.

I developed a Rules Engine/Editor based on JMX MBeans and used them to generate JMX Notifications, SNMP Traps to be integrated with Management Consoles such as HP Open View.

Joined Vembu Technologies and lead the development of StoreGrid, Online Backup Software, since May 2005. I was involved with the most intricate details of the software pivoting to position StoreGrid for the MSPs/VARs market.

I have also worked with Cloud Computing Technologies such as AWS, Azure, App Engine, which paved way to StoreGrid AMIs and the current Vembu Cloud Storage Services.

At the brink of my career, I have founded JKL Tech as a hi-tech Product Startup & producing world-class products.
