Jeff Funk is a 56X Emmy, Promax, Telly and Addy Award-Winning Creative Director, Writer & Digital Content Producer in New Orleans. He has spent an entire career in television & media which literally started a week after graduating from the University of Florida. Over that span, he has supervised brand activations & diverse teams that has generated revenue, bolstered viewer engagement, ratings as well as streamlined sales workflow processes for major media companies such as The CNN News Group, Hearst-Argyle TV & The Turner Entertainment Networks, a division of Turner Broadcasting System Inc. based in Atlanta. In late 2011, Jeff became the Creative Director at WGNO-TV ABC & NOLA 38 The CW, Tribune's duopoly in New Orleans. He leads the award winning team responsible for WGNO's hearfelt "God Bless Louisiana" campaign, a project that has garnered 3 Emmys, 9 Addy, Telly & Promax Awards on the local, regional and national level. It was also a 2012 National Addy finalist and the 2013 Prestige Award for the "Best TV Promotion Of The Year" by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters. Day to day, he manages all on air promotions, social media & digital content activation for both stations as well as This TV and Antenna TV. Passionate about personal & professional brands, he has spoken at conferences such iRetreat, Digital Atlanta, NOLA Bar Camp, Type A, NicheMommy & Barkworld on the topic of video, social media & storytelling. On his spare time, he saddles up with his ruby Les Paul as a local musician.
