Jeff Pruett

Jeff Pruett is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Louisiana Land & Water Company, Inc. The Pruett family has been in the business of water management for four generations; Jeff Pruett led the company—founded in 1964 as West Monroe Real Estate—during its enormous expansion. Under his stewardship, the company grew from a worth of $1.75 million in 1986 to over 10 times that in 2010. Jeff Pruett was educated at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He studied Construction Engineering there, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974 with minors in public finance, business administration, and chemistry. In 1984, he returned to higher education in order to study computer engineering. He attended Texas A&M University and Louisiana Tech University before completing his degree at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1986. In addition to his educational degrees, Jeff Pruett maintains a number of professional memberships and certifications relevant to his business. He holds Level 4 Water Works Certification, Master Plumber Inspector licensure, and Building Official Certification in Texas, and is a member of the Contract Administration Association. Outside of his professional duties, Jeff Pruett is involved with a number of charitable and religious organizations. He donates to the Food Bank of Louisiana, sponsored Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries for nearly 10 years, and is currently President of the Living Way Charity. Mr. Pruett has affiliations with the Church of Christ, United New Testament Church, and Trinity Institute of Christian Counseling. In his spare time, Jeff Pruett enjoys high-speed sports. He is a former high-altitude snow and ice four-wheeler racer and off-road motorcycling competitor.
