Jeffrey Brockett DDS

A third generation dentist, Jeffrey Brockett, DDS, followed the example of his father and grandfather to enter the field of dentistry in California. All three of the family members graduated from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. The family history began in the 1930s when Dr. Jeffrey Brockett’s grandfather entered the profession to become only the second oral surgeon to serve patients in the San Diego area. Later, his father completed dental school in the mid-1970s and joined an existing La Jolla, California-based practice, which he later purchased. In 2008, Dr. Jeffrey E. Brockett joined Brockett Dental, where he provides managerial oversight in addition to providing routine and restorative dental care to patients.

At Brockett Dental, Jeffrey E. Brockett, DDS, performs a wide array of dental services, from fillings and extractions to crowns and root canal therapy. Additionally, he assists patients with more complex dental needs that require fixed or removable prosthodontic devices, and he is expanding into the area of orthodontics. He also provides an array of cosmetic services for patients interested in the appearance of their teeth and smile.

In addition to his general and family dentistry practice, Dr. Brockett joined the USC staff as an instructor two years ago, working with the Problem-based Learning (PBL) program.
