Jeffrey Thorp

Jeff Thorp enjoys photography, running (including marathons and half-marathons), fly fishing, hiking, golfing, traveling, and wine & food. One of his favorite fishing spots is the South Fork of the Snake River in Idaho. Jeffrey Thorp is an avid fly fisherman and certified guide and casting instructor.

Jeffrey Thorp has served as the Principal of Sonoma Capital Management, a private investment fund management company, since its launch in 2006. Jeffrey Thorp has over 20 years of experience investing in public corporate securities. Thorp specializes in investing across corporate capital structures in any security, type, claim, or structure.

Jeff Thorp received a degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. Jeff Thorp received a Masters of Business Administration and Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California. While at USC, Thorp was selected to the school's highest honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma, for academic achievement. He is currently a member of the Marshall School of Business Alumni Advisory Board at USC.
