Jennifer's longstanding interest in educational technology started with her first computing experience in the early 80s. In the 90s, she worked at the Center for Exploration (CFX) at the Indianapolis Children's Museum, and was a pioneer in the field of video-based distance learning, helping to develop resources for and study outcomes of Turner Adventure Learning Field Trips.

In addition to her graduate studies in Mass Communications, Jennifer served as the coordinator for Distance Learning Workshops at the IU Center for Excellence in Education, and was the newsletter editor for the Indiana Educator's Technology Center.

For more than 15 years, Jennifer has worked as an evaluator for Rockman et al, specializing in the evaluation of new media projects and museum-based evaluation. At Rockman, Jennifer has managed evaluations for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, PBS KIDS, the Microsoft Partners in Learning Program, the American Museum of Natural History, The Smithsonian, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

Jennifer has also led numerous workshops at regional and national conferences on evaluation techniques, including innovative uses of new technology to facilitate evaluation efforts.
