From my very first experience, communicating to a complete stranger over my school's IRC in 1988, I was exhilarated by the unfathomable potential of the internet in its ability to globally connect the niche en masse, finally igniting the power of human difference rather than isolating it, and as a result, accelerating progress towards our possibility.
It was that vision that had me hooked.
In 1995 (pre-Google -- gasp!), I wed passion with profession by joining the UK's largest internet service provider, CompuServe Interactive; and I remain happily married to the cause of innovation and possibility realisation almost 20 years later.
