Jennifer Moore

I'm a computational linguist currently working as a software engineer in the natural languages group at Apple Inc. Some of our work deals with improving autocorrection on iOS and Mac OS X, as well as providing a number of developer APIs for text processing, including tokenization, language identification, and linguistic tagging.

Originally from California, I have nevertheless spent many years studying and living abroad in France and Germany. I received my BA in Linguistics from UC Santa Cruz in 2004, and an MSc in Computational Linguistics from Saarland University in 2008.

I can often be found in a coffee shop pouring over the latest issue of The Economist, or day-dreaming on walks around town, at times chasing squirrels or butterflies.
