Jennifer Coughlin

For the past five years I have worked in the wind energy field for a company based in Boston. As a Sr. Facilities Supervisor and Marketing/PR Assistant, my day-to-day respobsibilities include drafting and editing our monthly internal newsletter, coordinating ribbon cutting ceremonies, media relations and press releases, managing our scholarship program, social media (Twitter) and other daily tasks. I graduated from Suffolk University in May 2012 having earned my MA in Communication and PR.

I would like to pursue a career in either internal communication or manage social corporate responsibilty for a company in or around the Boston area.

Other background: I have my BA in English with a concentration in writing and minor in psychology. I worked in event planning on my college campus and have been dealing with various types of vendors, negotiating and promotion since 2005. Part-time I also work for an alcohol marketing company promoting various brands to new consumers.

On a personal note, I love to travel. In the past 4 years I have had to opportunity to visit England, Ireland and France (3x). I love seeing new places and experiencing new things from food to culture to wine.
