Jennifer Gottlieb

A dedicated educator and Florida public servant, Jennifer Gottlieb recently served five years as a member of the School Board of Broward County. In 2009, she was elected by her peers to serve a year as the Broward County School Board chairwoman. Jennifer Gottlieb was previously employed as government relations manager for the Broward Teacher Union and as a teacher, arts integration specialist, and satellite learning center facilitator with Dania Elementary School in Dania Beach, Florida.

While sitting on the Broward County School Board, Ms. Gottlieb simultaneously served as a member of the Florida School Board Association State Finance Committee and as the chairwoman of the K-12 Reading Adoption State Instructional Materials Committee. Her professional efforts have been recognized by Sunshine Social Services, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and the Miami Herald newspaper. The United States Army has also given Jennifer Gottlieb an official commendation for creating a new junior ROTC program in Broward County.
