I am the managing editor for West Virginia Executive magazine, a statewide business magazine. I have been with WVE for almost nine years, and in that time, I have also been a staff writer and editor. I have contributed to Executive Event Planner magazine, Executive Meeting Planner magazine, Profiles magazine, MetroValley magazine and Entrance magazine. Prior to my position as managing editor, I was part owner of the magazine's publishing company, Executive Ink.

As the managing editor, I am responsible for overseeing production of the quarterly magazine and making sure deadlines are met. I work directly with freelancers and contributors. I maintain vital recordkeeping spreadsheets, and I am responsible for the maintenance of a 32,000+ niche mail distribution list. I developed and managed the company's internship program. In addition, I am heavily involved in the editing process for each issue and contribute editorial and ad copy as needed. I also provide ghost editing and ghost writing services.

In my spare time, I am a freelance editor for Inspiration for Writers. At IFW, I perform varying levels of editing services for clients who are preparing their manuscripts for submission to publishing companies or for self-publication. I have also completed several technical editing projects, including extensive employee handbooks and job description guides.

When I am not editing magazines, manuscripts or employee handbooks, I write fiction, spend time on Lake Erie with my husband, travel home to West-By-God-Virginia or lose myself in a good piece of fiction (preferably young adult paranormal).
