Jennifer Quaglietta

Jennifer Quaglietta is the Director of Patient Experience, Quality Transformation and Patient- and Family- Centred Care at North York General Hospital. North York General Hospital, affiliated with the University of Toronto, is one of Canada's leading community academic hospitals. Jennifer’s team is responsible for improving quality and safety across the organization, developing the annual Quality Improvement Plan, ensuring patients and families are partnered with their care provider(s) in developing their care plan, incident and risk management, and providing a process for patient relations.

Prior to her role at North York General Hospital, Jennifer served as the Strategy Lead within Ontario’s Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care providing leadership to implement the Excellent Care for All Act, 2010, supporting the advancement of the provincial quality agenda, including pillars of health system funding reform.

Holding various leadership roles over the past 15 years, Jennifer has delivered transformative strategies that have improved patient outcomes and the quality of care across the province. Jennifer’s strengths include policy and strategy, partnership development, governance, quality improvement, project and change leadership, and performance measurement and management.

A Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders, Jennifer is a graduate of the Master of Business Administration program from the Rotman School of Management and the University of Toronto’s Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering program. She holds the Project Management Professional designation and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Jennifer’s work has been recognized across the healthcare sector as she continues to be an invited speaker at various conferences and universities, and is the recipient of the Project Management Institute’s Kerzner Award and the Ontario Public Service Award for Project Manager of the Year.
