I make things up.

I design products and services that millions enjoy, including wearable technologies, video games, community skate parks and interactive DIY guides. I focus on improving the human condition one design at a time from visual instructions for soldier safety in Afghanistan to AIDS medication guides for low literacy populations in Africa. As an educator with "eyes-on-back-of-head," I notice the details amidst chaos and incorporate insights into intuitive designs. I have created notable educational programs, including several innovative middle schools and the world-reknown Stanford d.school. I am currently working on my first books drawing upon adventures as a middle school teacher and administrator.
