MAKER. EDUCATOR. STORYTELLER. Design should be simple, fun and make the world a better place. As an ethnographic researcher/designer, I understand people and how to innovate with and for them in ways that are intuitive and engaging. I have been behind a range of products and services from video games to community skateparks to schools. As a creative artist at heart, design and entrepreneurship are what put the spring in my step! As an educator, I guide students from kindergarten through graduate school to learn how to learn and then customize their own educational paths to achieve what others may tell them is impossible. Dream big. Work hard. Stay meek. I enjoy creating and sharing stories through diverse media. I'm a writer, photographer, artist and improviser. In The Poor Hungry Debtor, I don't shy away from stinging reality and write about career challenges post grad school in a rotten economy. Most known for humor, my improv characters and songs are quirky and fun-loving while my writing captures funny insights from years as a middle school teacher and administrator. Just for fun: I enjoy being trained by my diva dawg, hanging with family and friends and eating sweet and sour candies while indulging in the glorious horrors of B movies.
