Jeremy LaCroix is an accomplished leader in the field of Design and UX with over 15 years of experience leading award winning teams in digital, video and print design. He is an expert in concept and strategy development. LaCroix is a hands-on talent with proven ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver superb creative work under tight deadlines.

Currently LaCroix is redefining messaging with Cola Messenger, a startup based in San Francisco. The last two years found LaCroix in Copenhagen working with the team at issuu to enable publishers to digitize their content and expand their businesses. Previously he ran AOL's mobile team where he innovated a custom publishing solution resulting in the birth of critically acclaimed HUFFINGTON and DISTRO tablet magazine currently nominated for a combined seven SPD awards while DISTRO recently won an APPY award for best tablet publication.

Prior to joining AOL, LaCroix was the Creative Director for the Lifestyle division of CBS Interactive. Where he lead the popular foodie destination CHOW.com which won multiple Webby, ASME, EDDIE, SDP and MAGGIE award wins culminating in a coveted James Beard award for best food website in 2010.

As art director of WIRED magazine he was part of leading the title to both Silver and Gold Medal Magazine of the Year wins as well as multiple ASME awards for general excellence. During his tenure at WIRED he also received numerous accolades from AIGA and SPD. Notable experiences at WIRED include taking the first ever published photo's of the Tesla electric car and directing the award winning layout for the story of escaped American hostages during the Iranian hostage crisis first published in WIRED that inspired the Oscar Award Winning movie ARGO.

Prior to the jump from print magazines to the web he held positions as a designer at titles such as The Industry Standard, Forbes ASAP and Infoworld.

Jeremy studied graphic design and illustration at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston.

He lives and works in San Francisco.
