Jerry Bagel MD

Jerry Bagel, MD, is currently the director of the Psoriasis Treatment Center of Central New Jersey at Windsor Dermatology. He has led the dermatology community in a number of capacities since entering private practice in 1985. An editor, researcher, practitioner, and educator, he has contributed to the study and practice of dermatology on nearly every level. His work consistently garners praise: every year since 2001, Jerry Bagel, MD, has earned at least one award for excellence in dermatology.

As editor of Practical Dermatology in 2006 and Psoriasis Forum in 2010, Jerry Bagel, MD, oversaw the latest publications in dermatology research. He does not limit himself to editing scholarly journals; since 1985, he has written for them as well. His research on psoriasis treatment regularly appears in Practical Dermatology and Journal of Drugs in Dermatology. Jerry Bagel, MD, also compiles patient-targeted newsletters and informative videos on psoriasis treatment, which he posts on the Windsor Dermatology website.

As a practitioner, Jerry Bagel, MD, along with the staff of Windsor Dermatology, offers treatment for skin conditions including acne, warts, vitiligo, psoriasis, hair loss, eczema, and skin cancer. As Jerry Bagel, MD, mentioned in a television interview, he and his staff view dermatology as a practice of holistic wellness. His treatment often focuses on the underlying causes of dermatological symptoms.

Jerry Bagel, MD, communicates knowledge not only to his patients, but also to the future dermatologists he teaches at Columbia University. A Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology there since 2003, he continues educating other doctors, which he first did as a Graduate Assistant in 1975. He lives in New Jersey and is an active volunteer with the National Psoriasis Foundation.
