Jesse Factor maintains a diverse career in theatre and dance. Born in Mercer, PA and raised in Ecuador and Thailand, Jesse brings a cross cultural awareness and international sensibility to his work as a performer, choreographer, and teacher. Mr. Factor received teaching certification in the Martha Graham Technique after attending the Martha Graham School on scholarship. Performance credits include the Martha Graham Dance Company, Graham II, the North American Touring Company of CATS, and the European Company of Cabaret. He holds a BFA from NYU.

As a teaching artist he has worked with: International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA), Marymount School of New York, and the The Martha Graham School.

Mr. Factor is currently pursuing his MFA in Dance (Choreography) at the University of Iowa, where he received the Iowa Arts Fellowship. Current areas of scholarship include accessorizing the body, high fashion as cultural barometer, and the phenomenon of the diva.
