I’m Jess Conn-Potegal, a Montreal-based musician, DJ, playlist curator, and audio experience creative. Since emerging from the vibrant early Pacific Northwest electronic music scene, I’ve focused on percussion, live improvisation, and intuitive collaboration to explore new sounds.

As a drummer and sound artist, I founded live deep house bands and experimental sound collectives, performing across Canada and internationally.

As a music curator, consultant, and sonic branding strategist, I create custom music experiences that elevate spaces for companies worldwide.

I’m fascinated by music’s power to connect us and shape our world. My approach combines instinctual, informal, contextual, and data-driven processes to explore the dynamic relationship between sound, people, and environments.

My goal is to create and collaborate around sound, music, spatial audio, human interaction, and immersive media to craft new, emotionally resonant experiences.
