San Diego

I am a Digital Content Innovator for the San Diego County Office of Education where I work with the SDCOE Juvenile Court and Community Schools. I work with teachers and students to leverage technology to transform education. I also oversee the 1:1 chromebook initiative for JCCS. I have recently begun to spread the Google love global as a spotlight speaker for EdTech Team. There is nothing more rewarding than working with teachers who are excited about using technology in meaningful ways with their students.

I am also an adjunct professor of educational technology for California State University San Marcos in the school of education. For the past five years, I have been working with the single-subject program and the joint doctoral program (UCSD/CSUSM) to facilitate, not only the integration of technology, but promoting the power of the personal learning network (PLN) for learning and personal/professional growth.

Additionally, I have taught a seminar, Learning and Leading with Technology, for the SDSU/SDCOE Joint MA program.

Besides technology integration, another passion in my practice is to promote and integrate ideas of social justice and educational equity in schools, classrooms, curriculum, and communities. My work isn't what I do, it's who I am!
