Jibran Bin Dawood

Lahore - It was the beginning of summers; a windy morning, sun was about to rise and shine - it was 10th of May 1988 and I just came into being.

From my childhood - visuals are for me what words are for a poet. Due to what, people used to say; I won't be able to pass in my matriculations. So, I thought to end up with my Masters degree at 3.3 CGPA out of 4.

After my Bachelors degree in Mass Communication. I went to Art College (NCA, Lahore) to gain some basic exposure related to video productions - through Certification in Multimedia. Than to be specialised in some specific field, I did my Masters Degree in TV & Film Studies from BNU, Lahore.

My Thesis Project - a short film resulted that I can be a good director in coming years, for what I went to Ajoka Theater Group to gain some good exposure and confidence. I did theater for like One and a half year, through what I had chance to perform and learn theater in different cities of INDIA like Delhi, Amritsar & Haiderabad Dakan etc. Even had chance to stay and learn about theater at National School of Drama, Dehli.

After such exposure, I went to Advertising Industry and worked as a Visualiser & Audio Video Person at an advertising firm for like one and a half year. Then some dream to be an entrepreneur made me resign and I moved to Islamabad, Pakistan where I started a small studio kinda step and to play safe joined a multinational company as multimedia artist. The company is really good and quite motivational that beside 10-6 job, I still find my-self quite energetic to focus on my goals of life.

I feel hungry for creative tasks; as vampires feel hunger for yummy blood.
