Jill Kolaga

Since embarking on her career, Jill Kolaga has achieved success in both the private and public spheres. After serving for two years as senior flight attendant with Eastern Airlines, Inc., based in Atlanta, Georgia, Kolaga accepted a position as motor carrier safety specialist with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Jill Kolaga's duties with the agency included serving as the regional liaison for an alcohol and drug program, conducting safety training for the New York Motor Truck Association, and helping build civil cases. Additionally, she gained extensive experience working with members of the Canadian Ministry of Transportation and numerous federal enforcement agencies.

While with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Jill Kolaga assisted with creating and launching the national public service announcement Don't Hang Out in the No Zone, a campaign aimed at truck safety. She also performed roadside inspections on vehicles and trained individuals in the United States and elsewhere. She also possesses knowledge of hazardous materials compliance and learned investigative techniques at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, in Glynco, Georgia.
