Jill Turner Associates is a small, ethical, hardworking and client focussed Holistic Financial Planning Practice. Established by Jill Turner, who probably inherited a propensity for detail and customer service from her parents - a greengrocer’s daughter and a master builder’s son, who came from a long line of pearly kings.

It all started by accident after replying to a very eighties style recruitment advertisement, offering riches, Porsches on the drive and villas in Spain for anyone young, motivated and ambitious, It led to a job canvassing door to door for Alico which was thankfully short lived before a career at Legal and General beckoned where Jill enjoyed twelve glorious years with a first class company and first class training. It culminated with Jill running the financial services for three estate agents before leaving to join a leading national IFA.

In 2012 motivated by enduring client relationships, some of whom are the children of the children of the parents she first advised in the late eighties, Jill set up her own practice to apply her own values, experience and knowledge, to best serve her clients.

Jill holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, her family are her riches and after twenty five years there are still no Porsches on the drive or villas in Spain. Holisitc Financial Planning has proven to be the perfect career to combine her love of mathematics and strategic thinking with a passion to help people enjoy a more financially secure future.

Currently with two young children, spare time is a rarity but when not working or playing Duplo, Jill has a passion for broadcast journalism. A passion that has sparked many international friendships, one of the most eclectic music collections this side of the Pennines, five years worth of Global Roots and Grooves radio, an invitation to teach radio production skills at Sheffield University’s Summer School and the opportunity to dance in the rainforests of Borneo.
