Jim currently works at The American School of Doha as a music teacher. He is in charge of The Middle School Choral Program and assists with the Middle School and High School Instrumental Program where he is the brass specialist. He also conducts the Middle School Concert Band and the High School Wind Ensemble. In addition to his work at school, Jim conducts the Doha Community Wind Symphony in which they perform 3-4 concerts a year. A graduate of The University of Massachusetts at Amherst, he studied with Malcom Rowel, Jr, Charles Bestor, E. Wayne Ambercrombie, Walter Chesnut, George Parks, and Daniel D'Addio. In addition to music, Jim is very versed in technology and the Apple Universe. Recently, he has picked up photography as a hobby.
