educating curiosity
After spending two years at George Mason University as a voice performance major, I eventually transferred to University of Maryland University College where, in 2008, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. In 2013 I earned my Master of Divinity degree from Howard University School of Divinity located in Washington, DC.

challenging concepts
Did you know that people are more alike than not? In 2013 I earned a Certificate in Muslim-Christian Studies through the Washington Theological Consortium located in Washington, DC. Not only did I gain peacemaking skills with this certificate, but I was constantly reminded of the similarities possessed by humankind no matter the race, gender or religious association.

consciously healthy
The year 2010 was the initiation of A Healthier Me campaign. Instead of focusing solely on weight loss goals, this time I focused on a total health reformation to include physical, emotional and spiritual health. This time, I wanted the change to be a LIFE change which required much planning, paying attention to detail and great patience. This was and continues to be a conscious effort. One I am proud of.

loving life
Life is good. Things are far from perfect or without difficulty, but life is still good. I am content, present and grateful for what is. Life is good.
