Josh Knauer

Just because Josh Knauer was born in New Jersey, summered in Maine and graduated from Emerson College in Boston doesn’t mean he’s not a Floridian at heart! Give him sun over snow any day!

Josh has over twenty five years in the broadcasting field at great radio stations across the country from WZOU in Boston and Pirate Radio in Los Angeles to 100.7 The Point in Pittsburgh and KJ-103 in Oklahoma City. He has also worked in Ft. Myers at WINK-AM/FM as well as midday host on Smooth Jazz 98.7 here in Tampa.

You may have also heard Josh reporting traffic in the Bay Area on WLLD, WSJT, WQYK and Q-105, and also on Bay News 9.

Josh has a great sense of humor and has a great rapport with his listeners.

Josh has worked from the broadcasting “minors” to the broadcasting “majors” and after a very nomadic life; he decided to settle down in Tampa about five years ago with his beautiful wife, Tracy. They live in Tampa with their cats, Gidget-Paige and Tiffany.

He is a huge music buff and loves to challenge anyone in trivia regarding music and movies. Josh’s hobbies include photography, scuba diving, skiing and reading.
