The last 15 years have been a maze of doctor visits, medications, pain, and tears. Two years ago, I was finally diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthitis, but have yet responded to treatment. Along the way, I have also been diagnosed with 30+ chronic conditions. Blogging has been my therapy. I write about my journery at juliesspoonfulofsugar.wordpress.com.

I started making my own soaps when my auto-immune system flared with new skin allergies. So I turned it into a business. Julie's Sugar Soaps was opened on Etsy where I sell handmade bath and body products primarily for wedding favors, bridal showers, baby showers, and birthdays. My husband also pops kettle corn which we sell in individual bags or as party favors.
