I am a Primary school teacher in Southwark, London. Prior to turning my career in a new direction, for over seven years I supported universities to become more inclusive establishments through the Athena Swan Charter programme. I still undertake consultancy in gender equality and culture change, to continue this important work.

I believe that everyone should be enabled to succeed, and that targeted action facilitates this. Ensuring that this is undertaken has been the core tenet of my career.
