My primary research looks at how community colleges, labor market intermediaries, and four-year institutions recruit students/workers for vocational programs (and otherwise) related to the fracking/oil and gas industry. My research is focused on the Eagle Ford Shale region of South Texas. I am also interested in Writing Center administrative work, primarily how to best serve distance learners.
