Teacher by training, learner by design....

I am a learning architect working at the intersection of high tech and low literacy. I believe that learning should be participatory, fun and highly engaging. I'm the Chief Learning Architect at Applestar Productions, where I create training and elearning for my clients and travel to conferences teaching workshops and learning new things. They call me a learning junkie.

I've spent 15 years in corporate talent development, and 5 in higher education, designing learning and leading teams. Additionally, I volunteer as the Director of Christian Education at Providence Assembly of God, a ministry in the inner city. I spend lots of time working with adults with very low literacy skills, helping them learn English, reading and writing. I'm truly living the dream.
