Passionate about the intersection of media, technology, journalism and entrepreneurship.

Currently Deputy Managing Director of Doha Debates, a production of the Qatar Foundation.

Doha Debates examines the world’s most pressing challenges through live debates, digital videos, podcasts and educational materials. We encourage different perspectives, hear the arguments, question them, and turn ideas into action.

Previously lead video and digital strategy at Fusion Media Group, Fusion TV, and AJ+. There my teams focused on social strategy, audience development, data and creating amazing new digital experiences for our audience.

As a founding team member at Matter. I supported entrepreneurs building a more informed, connected, and empowered society through our 4-month start-up accelerator in San Francisco.

Co-creator of the documentary project 18 Days in Egypt which was supported by the Tribeca Film Institute's New Media Fund and was part of the Sundance Institute's New Frontier Storylab.

I've been honored to be a Knight Journalism Fellow and a video journalist at The New York Times. Also served as a boardmember with the South Asian Journalists Association and as a executive team member for News Xchange.
