When translating, I pay attention to details. I do not take the existence of words, phrases and terminology for granted. I do not only check what is the target language equivallent of a term, but also ensure that a particular phrase is not just a weird combination of words, but a thing that a native speaker, be it Polish or English, would actually say or write.

During my two years as a freelancer I translated contracts, academic papers (botany, ecology and anthropology), promotional materials, publications on nutrition and physical activity, EU press releases, screenplays for short animated films, articles related to tax and business, as well as lighting devices manuals.

I use the following CAT tools: Déjà Vu X2 Professional and SDL Trados Studio 2009.
