After working in the Police; Social Services; Medical colleges and several hospitals I became a single parent in my forties and found it more difficult than any other job I had ever done!! With no family nearby and few friends in similar situations or locally, I struggled with every single parent issue - too little time, money and energy!! I decided to establish a single parent information network to improve access to useful knowledge and services for other single parents like me.

I am working unpaid to establish a centre in Brighton that would provide drop-in and outreach facilities for those parents with sole or shared care to network with both other single parents and professionals who can support and assist them to increase the quality of life and opportunities for each of these families. If anyone would like to help in any way and obviously financially. that would be most welcome!
