I was born and raised in Poland of a French father and Polish mother. Thanks to them I was raised trilingual. I studied in France, earning an MA in International Relations from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris in 2010. I now live in the US, after working as a photo editor for one year, and do freelance photography on occasion.

My interests lie at the vast, but vastly under-researched, cross-section of photography/visual journalism and international politics. I have just completed my PhD at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism.
