My passion is finding cost-effective pathways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and scale clean energy—by building a business case for resource efficiency, engaging stakeholders around sustainability, and using quantitative analysis to make climate and energy policies smarter.
I currently work as a consultant in the Climate Change and Sustainability division at ICF International in Washington, DC. My academic background is focused on environmental economics and interdisciplinary strategies for environmental problem-solving. As an undergraduate and later as an independent consultant at Dartmouth College, I led a team to design and implement a $1 million revolving green fund on campus. (I now do free-of-charge consulting work for those interested in setting up a green fund at other universities or organizations. Just ask!)
The things that get me up in the morning are innovation, adventure, hard work, stopping climate change, Italian food, Belgian beer, Spanish guitar, American ingenuity, a good bench press, rolling Midwestern thunderstorms, and the unflinching belief that an individual can change the world.
