Joey Manaligod
Graduate Student Researcher and Facilitator
I am a PhD candidate in Cognitive Psychology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia. My work is focused on the influence of interactive histories on affectively-biased attention, which I investigate through experiences of food preparation.
A few times a year I also facilitate the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) designed to help both new and experienced educators enhance the effectiveness of their teaching.
I am an avid homecook! I always say that if I wasn't in academia, I'd open my own cafe/restaurant!
You will almost always find me listening to music and curating playlists!
