Strategist composed of equal parts technology and communications. I like to ask questions. And to keep asking them until the opportunity starts to breathe life, or the problem is clearly understood. From there, I kick into planning mode.

How did all this happen?

An undergraduate computer science degree in my native Ireland trained my mind to solve problems. After internship experiences in Germany in high-tech (Infineon) and web portal (Yahoo!), my curious nature sought an adventure in a completely contrasting environment.

After working as an intern in former President Clinton’s office in Harlem, New York City, I was hired by the Clinton Foundation to establish an IT department. From there, I lead the foundation's digital marketing programs through a time of tremendous growth from a spotlighted start-up to seasoned international NGO.

I honed my communications acumen witnessing at first hand the power and impact of words and images when delivered through a body of immense influence: President Bill Clinton. This experience ignited my interest in studying strategic communications at Columbia University part-time with a goal to marry this expertise with my technology skills.

After seven years at the Clinton Foundation, I was eager to expand my communications experience outside of the nonprofit sector. I sought opportunities in the agency world, and joined PR firm Porter Novelli.

Next, advertising agency, Draftfcb, provided a rare opportunity to work on a national public health communications campaign: preventing teens from using drugs and alcohol. Ad world working on various accounts expended my experience with developing brand strategy and integrated communications planning.

After 9+ years living in New York City, the curious mind that brought me there sought new horizons. The San Francisco Bay Area and all of its outdoor adventures beckoned. Before arriving in the Bay area, I took a few months to travel in Southeast Asia where I was able to untangle my mind.

Upon arriving on the left coast, I got my start in San Francisco with the passionate and committed team at PR agency Allison+Partners. The chance to work on "big tech" with Google as my client lured me to my current home: Epsilon. I spend my days doing my best to understand our clients’ target audiences, what motivates them, and how we can reach them through technology to help solve their problems or bring them worthwhile opportunities.
