Joanne Lannin

I am a New England-area freelance writer and writing instructor, a lover of dogs, people, women's basketball, the Red Sox, and the Celtics. I have just published a book about the pioneers of women's basketball, called Finding a Way to Play. You can read about it in the pages of this blog. I'm also the author of two other books about women and sports. I worked for a daily newspaper for 22 years and now teach journalism at the high school level and write a monthly column for a women's magazine.
