Jonathan Hollander

With a wealth of experience in finance and public and venture investments, Jonathan Hollander established Chesapeake Advisory Group, LLC in New York City in early 2009. Jonathan Hollander applies his proven expertise in business operations and investing to Chesapeake’s principal investments and consulting clients. Jonathan Hollander focuses Chesapeake’s investments in dynamic, fast-growing industries including clean technology, natural resources, and online media. Prior to founding the firm, Jonathan Hollander worked as a Senior Research Analyst with CR Intrinsic Investors, a SAC Capital-affiliated fund. In this role, Jonathan led investments in commodities, natural resource equities, and real estate securities. Jonathan Hollander earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, a Bachelor Science in Environmental Studies, and minor in Engineering Management from Tufts University. Additionally, Jonathan Hollander earned a Masters of Business Administration with a certificate in Global Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. During his MBA, Jonathan Hollander worked as a Summer Associate with Goldman Sachs and attended a Cuba academic study trip. Prior to Stanford, Jonathan Hollander worked as a Financial Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, then as a Private Equity Associate at Citicorp Venture Capital. Alongside his professional endeavors, Jonathan Hollander serves on the Advisory Board for the Jewish Heart for Africa, a nonprofit that provides renewable technologies to rural African communities. In this role, Jonathan Hollander develops corporate partnerships and also selects technologies for implementation. Additionally, Jonathan continues to serve as a youth baseball coach with HarlemRBI in Spanish Harlem, New York City, where he has volunteered for over six years.
