I am... an encourager, a problem solver. My greatest joy is in words of affirmation, both giving and receiving.
After spending the first half of my career in the Houston oil sector, I changed course and opened my own international business in the former Soviet Union teaching marketable skills to young people and communication strategies to businesses just after independence. That was a pivotal time both for me and the world- the internet, the digital age, discovering my passions to help others- all of that happened in those 10 years abroad from 1995-2005.
Returning to a very different America post-9/11, I combined these two worlds here in Washington DC as a consultant.
This multi-cultural perspective drives my focus in managing change and communication strategies-- it's about making a difference for people every day.
Today I work (way too much) in ways that help change the public sector approach to the intersection of culture, communications, change, and measuring impact.
