Joni Ruttenbur

Joni Ruttenbur, PMP, is a Santa Clara, California-based program manager and management consultant. After graduating from University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in business information systems, she began working for PeopleSoft as project manager for customer satisfaction and quality systems. Joni Ruttenbur eventually became director of solutions delivery for global customer operations and director of operations for global customer services.

After PeopleSoft, Ms. Ruttenbur accepted a position as a manager at Kaiser Permanente. Eight months after starting with the company, she was promoted to director of business infrastructure. Her responsibilities included overseeing 25 project managers and coordinators, as well as process governance, resource management, and portfolio planning. Following her time with Kaiser, she became senior program manager for Blue Shield of California’s Transformation E-business.

Joni Ruttenbur is now a self-employed management consultant who has contracted with NetApp to work on integrating item master data for the largest acquisition in the company's history. She also provided consulting services to Blue Coat Systems to manage an IT integration process following an acquisition. Joni is currently consulting for Symantec on an internal implementation of Oracle R12 finance modules.
